Scope: Conscio Pharma
Title: Business Development Manager Pharma Slovakia
Location: Slovakia/Austria – Remote (Full time)

As part of the larger Conscio Group, EL can offer its customers an even wider range of services including formulation development and clinical testing.

Business Development Manager Pharma Slovakia
The job duties for this position include the acquisition of new contacts and business opportunities, primarily in the field of pharmaceutical analysis and clinical drug testing (Phase I) as well as the communication with existing customers.
- Role description
- Develop and implement business development strategies that align with the laboratory’s overall growth objectives
- Meet or exceed sales targets through proactive client engagement and effective sales strategies
- Identification of customer requirements and preparation of quotes
- Monitor and report on sales performance, market trends, and business development activities.
- Negotiation of business terms
- Handover of projects to operations
- Management of the company’s key accounts
- Daily contact with customers in English, both written and verbal
- Participation in tele/video conferences
- international business trips and attendances of exhibitions
- Position can be based remote but will require frequent on-site presence in Spisska Nova Ves
- Profile:
- University degree in chemistry (analytical or organic chemistry preferred)
- Knowledge of analytical techniques and methods
- Relentless customer orientation and positive “can-do” attitude
- Fluency in Slovak and English language
- 5-10 years of professional work experience
- Understanding of trends in the pharmaceutical industry and the drug life cycle
- Independence and responsible approach to work, yet also able to work in teams
- Organizational skills, strategic thinking, and decision-making
- Excellent communication skills both internally and towards customers
- Resilience to work under pressure (deadlines, results, priorities)
- User knowledge of working with a PC
III. Desired skills
- Experience in a laboratory, ideally in analytical chemistry
- Experience with Good Manufacturing, Laboratory, or Clinical Practices
- Experience in pharmaceutical analysis or production
